It’s pretty good, but some features are hit or miss
I really think this is a pretty good RSS reader overall. I like having the ability to have a tab for each source, I like the aesthetics, and I like the notifications. The only problem I have with it is that two of the three article views, “Clutter-Free Article” and “Article Summary” seem to have broken slightly in the most recent release. I use RSS to keep up with webcomics, among other things and, until recently, using the “Clutter-Free Article” setting worked well for all of them. Now, however, that same view just shows whatever text is on the page and doesn’t show the comic itself—I end up having to switch to the website view instead. It’s not consistent, however, and sometimes the same feed shows properly as a clutter-free article. Once that issue is fixed, I’d be happy to give this four stars instead of three.
It does lose another star for the “please rate us and look at our other products” popups that happen every time you update the app—they show up even if you tell them not to show again. Fortunately it only happens once the first time you open it after updating, but it still costs them a star. Please put that kind of stuff in the “About” or “Help” menus where it belongs.
